September 16 - 23, 2000
This group cruise on the Tennessee, Ohio and
Mississippi Rivers is on a paddle-wheeler. Itinerary
will include departure from Chattanooga, visits to
Memphis, Decatur, Florence, Savannah, Paducah and
Asport Landing, with final debarkation in Memphis.
John and
Louise Della-Santa will be your hosts
on this cruise. Airfare is included in the price (ranging from
$2,018 to $2860, per person, depending upon cabin
category) as an early booking bonus (deposit must
be made four months before sailing for this bonus).
Optional tax classes will be taught on this
cruise
to make it possible tax-deductible. John Della-Santa
will be conducting three seminars: 1. Investments;
2. Small Business - Watching the Numbers; and
3. Taxability of Social Security Income. Seminar
sessions will be scheduled in such a way as to have
minimum impact on your cruise time.
We are doing a Civil War Theme on this cruise,
as many of our past participants have expressed
an interest. If you remember being taught about
the Civil War in high school or feel nostalgic about
the "Old South" and/or the Civil War, we would like
you to enjoy experiencing how it might have felt
to have lived in that time. This is an excellent way
to do it and make it tax deductible, as well.
There are many activities on board the ship
during
the day and entertainment each night. There is also
plenty of laid back time to visit, read or play cards.
The Mississippi Queen is a small ship and has
many amenities (such as antique decorations, great food, an opportunity to get to know
people in an intimate setting) with interesting and historical stops along the way.
We will have professional historians on the ship to give us the history of each place we
visit. This cruise promises ambiance, history, fun and an enriching experience.
